Kazi Forrukh Ahammed, MCIPS, belongs to the 22nd batch of BCS: Audit and Accounts Service. He joined the service on December 10, 2003. He has been the Chief Accounts and Finance Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since October 16, 2024. Before his current role, he was the Finance Controller of the Bangladesh Ordnance Factory in Gazipur. Throughout his career in the civil service, he has worked in the offices of the CGA, CGDF, ADG(F), and various audit directorates in different capacities. Apart from this, he worked for the International Labour Organization (ILO) as a training specialist. He also worked at Janata Bank from 1998 to 2003.
He is a passionate learner and participates in various training programs at FIMA, BPATC, and BIM. He earned a diploma, an advanced diploma, and a professional diploma in Procurement and Supply Management from the UK. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Management (MCIPS) and a diplomaed associate of Bankers, Bangladesh (DAIBB). He also holds a Master’s in Procurement and Supply Management (MPSM), a Master’s in Public Affairs (MPA), a Master’s in Disaster Management (MSDM), as well as a BSc (Hons) and an MSc in Botany.
Kazi Forrukh Ahammed is a professional trainer in procurement management, financial management. He is National Certified Trainer of Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority.
